Frequently Asked Questions

The CREATIVE FEE encompasses the time and expertise required to successfully execute your project. It includes various pre-production responsibilities such as client meetings, location scouting, and site-specific preparation.

The POST PRODUCTION FEE covers the extensive editing process that follows the photo shoot, where meticulous attention is given to each image to bring out its full potential. This comprehensive post-production work includes tasks such as color correction, retouching, compositing, and preparing the final deliverables. Additionally, the Post-production Fee covers standard licensing rights valid for a period of 10 years. This includes rights for editorial usage, trade show displays, corporate collateral, website usage, social media (with photo credit requirements), professional competitions, trade magazines, and wall displays.

For more information on rates and licensing, or to inquire about availability, please fill out the contact form above. I will be happy to provide you with detailed information and address any questions you may have. Please note that third-party sharing of images is not included unless all parties participate in cost sharing.

Typically, more than one business will benefit from the use of the photographs made for any given project. Instead of one business shouldering the entire financial burden of a shoot, cost sharing brings about a discount by distributing the overall cost among all involved parties. Embracing the practice of cost sharing in a project proves advantageous for everyone. Consider the various stakeholders who can benefit from the photographs of your project, including the owner, interior designers, landscape architects, contractors, consultants, tenants, product manufacturers, engineers, and others. By charging a reduced licensing fee for each involved party, everyone receives a discount. This collaborative approach has the potential to yield substantial savings for each client, making it an exceptionally cost-effective solution.

Copyrights are retained by the photographer to all the images created, ensuring the protection of intellectual property rights. Through licensing agreements, usage is granted to clients for specific rights and durations for the images. This allows clients to utilize the images for their intended purposes while respecting inherent ownership and rights. The licensing process is tailored to each client and project, providing clarity and legal authorization. A commitment to protecting intellectual property ensures the development of mutual trust between all parties. This results in the delivery high-quality images that effectively convey your message while upholding ethical and legal standards in our industry.

My primary service area is the greater Mid-South region – from St. Louis Missouri down to Memphis Tennessee and everything in between.

Absolutely! When consistency within a client’s marketing and web portfolio is essential, it becomes vital to traveling for work. Using the same photographer for as many projects as possible is key to achieving a cohesive look. By doing so, you can be assured that a seamless visual identity across various locations and projects is maintained, resulting in a unified and professional presentation that strengthens your brand’s message and impact.
